浅析老年人新型冠状病毒肺炎的认识与防范

Awareness of prevention and control of coronavirus disease 2019 in the elderly

摘要:

湖北武汉爆发新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)疫情,给我国公共卫生事业带来了巨大挑战。老年人免疫功能减弱,且多合并慢性基础疾病,是感染性疾病的高危人群。老年人感染COVID-19后病情较重,提高老年人对COVID-19的认识与防范意义重大。本文结合浙江中医药大学附属嘉兴中医院实际情况,整理出疫情期间老年人防范COVID-19的要点与读者分享。

Abstract:

The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Wuhan posed one of the biggest public health challenges in China. The elderly, with weakened immune systems and frequent comorbidity of chronic underlying diseases, are a risk population for infectious diseases. Since COVID-19 is more severe in the elderly, it is of great significance to enhance their awareness of its prevention and treatment. This paper summarized the key precautions against COVID-19 for the elderly, a result of practical efforts from Jiaxing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital affiliated to Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
