他汀类药物防治帕金森病的研究进展

Research progress on statins in prevention and treatment of Parkinson disease

帕金森病作为神经系统第二大退行性疾病,其发病机制目前尚不明确。遗传因素与环境因素在帕金森病的发生发展中起着重要作用。帕金森病的主要病理特征为黑质细胞变性及路易小体形成。他汀类药物是一种常用的降胆固醇药物,在一定程度上可以缓解神经退行性疾病的氧化应激及神经炎性损伤。本文将重点介绍他汀类药物在帕金森病中的神经保护作用,为今后帕金森病诊断和治疗策略的制定提供参考。

Abstract:

Parkinson disease (PD), as the second most common neurodegenerative disease, its pathogenesis is still unclear. Both genetic and environmental factors play important roles in its incidence and development. The main pathological features of the disease are degeneration of substantia nigra and formation of Lewy bodies. As well known, statins are commonly used as cholesterol-lowering drugs, and can alleviate oxidative stress and neuroinflammatory damage in neurodegenerative diseases to some extents. In this review, we focus on the neuroprotective effect of statins in order to provide a reference for the future diagnosis and treatment of PD.
